Egypt 2036

For this project, I was invited to explore the visual identity of a future Olympic host city, choosing between the 2036 Summer or 2038 Winter Games. I selected Egypt’s New Administrative Capital (NAC), a city still in the making. Being built with smart technology and global events in mind.

I wanted my logo concepts to reflect that duality, the soul of Egypt’s past meeting the sleek lines of tomorrow.

Insights

During my research the spinx stood out to me because not only is it an important part of ancient egypt but it also has a strong meaning. It represents Kingship, Royalty, and Sacred status.

Also the elements within the buildings them selves. The pillars in the New Administrative Capital use a modern style opposed to the traditional ancient style. Finding this helped me to pull in that new modern style they are going for in one of my logos.
